A Boardview is a digital map of the physical PCB. It allows you to locate a specific component (e.g., PU401) on the board instantly. You need specialized software like OpenBoardView or FlexBV to open these files.
How to Find the Board Code
Laptop model numbers (e.g., Dell Inspiron 15) are often inaccurate for repairs because one model can use different motherboards. Always disassemble the laptop and look for the silk-screened code on the PCB (e.g., LA-9104P or X550CC Rev 2.0).
